Terms of Service

These terms define the responsibilities and conditions that apply when you access or use Pdfware.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Pdfware, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. If you use Pdfware for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. The service

Pdfware provides browser-based document utilities and related information. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed over time. Tool pages describe supported formats, limits, and processing behavior.

Browser-based processing occurs on your device. You are responsible for your device, browser, internet connection, saved downloads, and any copies of documents you create.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Pdfware to:

  • violate any law, regulation, court order, or third-party right;
  • process documents you do not own or have permission to use;
  • remove security, passwords, or access controls without authorization from the document owner;
  • create, distribute, or facilitate malware, fraud, harassment, or harmful content;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service unlawfully;
  • bypass usage, security, access, or technical restrictions; or
  • misrepresent Pdfware, its tools, or generated results.

4. User responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying that a tool’s output is complete and suitable before relying on, sharing, printing, signing, deleting, or archiving it. Keep an independent backup of every source document. You are also responsible for protecting passwords, downloaded files, and confidential information on your device.

Do not use Pdfware as the sole storage location for any document. The service does not provide archival storage or guaranteed recovery.

5. Your documents and outputs

You retain your rights in documents you process and outputs you create. You grant Pdfware no ownership interest in files processed entirely in your browser. You represent that you have all permissions needed to process and use those materials.

6. Pdfware intellectual property

The Pdfware name, branding, website design, software, text, graphics, and other service materials are owned by Pdfware or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the public service for its intended purpose. They do not grant rights to copy, resell, sublicense, or create competing services from protected Pdfware materials.

7. Free services and future paid features

Current tools may be offered without charge. Free availability does not guarantee that every feature will always remain free. Optional subscriptions, usage limits, or paid services may be introduced with clear terms before purchase or enrollment.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser or document, preservation of any feature, or correction of every error. Maintenance, security events, provider failures, technical constraints, or legal requirements may affect access.

9. Third-party services and links

Pdfware may link to or depend on third-party websites, software libraries, hosting, or communication providers. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, or terms. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s policies.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pdfware is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Pdfware does not provide legal, financial, medical, archival, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. Review the Disclaimer for additional limitations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pdfware and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, documents, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities; or costs of replacement services arising from use of or inability to use Pdfware.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security, comply with law, respond to abuse, or enforce these terms. Provisions intended to survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limitations—will continue to apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The updated date will be shown at the top. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@pdfware.online or through the contact page.
