Browser-first processing
When a tool is marked as browser-based, document bytes are read and transformed locally by code running on your device.
About Pdfware
Pdfware is building a calm, trustworthy workspace for everyday document work—starting with private PDF tools that run directly in your browser.
Our mission
Pdfware exists because document utilities are often cluttered, inconsistent, and unclear about what happens to uploaded files. We believe a useful tool should explain itself, respect your attention, and make privacy visible before you begin.
The platform uses one shared interaction system across every tool. That means clear file requirements, predictable progress, accessible controls, and a result you can download without learning a new interface each time.
When a tool is marked as browser-based, document bytes are read and transformed locally by code running on your device.
Those local tools do not send document contents to Pdfware servers. Downloads are created from in-memory browser results.
Core tools are free because routine document work should be broadly accessible. Future optional services may fund continued development.
Processing behavior is stated on each tool page. If a future feature requires server processing, its page and the Privacy Policy will explain that behavior before use.
